Yes I've used a laptop w/OS-X since it came out
and even had http://homepage.mac.com/bobak/ bobak@mac.com but always signed emails w/bobak at computer.org as I knew that their service was overpriced, and I'd one-day replace it.

I might of done this sooner if I would of seen this.

When os-x+theTiBook came out, I was the 1st to pre-order for the faster version at uiuc.edu
Problem is, that they had problems w/those fast chips;and because of my use pattern, I went
through 3motherboards, till they replaced it; and it's second has been going for awhile.
I've enjoyed os-x, even w/the few porting troubles I've had; Now the new os might cross
the value added vs. pain threshold, esp. along w/the hardware; Where I might consider a
very inexpensive Debian based laptop. It's come a long way since the intro of os-x.
So we will see; Maybe apple will surprise me w/some new hardware; but now it is possibly a toss up.
